NOTD: OPI Jelly Sandwich Isn't That Precious and Divine Swine (And a Baby Bird)

I was craving a jelly sandwich, and Isn't That Precious and Divine Swine by OPI turned out to be a nice pairing!  I started with Isn't That Precious, a soft, sheer pink from the Soft Shades for 2010 collection.   The glitter Divine Swine is from The Muppets Holiday 2011 collection, and this is the first time I've worn it.  Several of the polishes from that collection number among my favorite (Warm and Fozzie, Designer, de Better!), but the glitters never really grabbed me.  Until now.
The silver glitter in Divine Swine actually turns white with Isn't That Precious over it, which I really like.  With base and top coat, you are looking at 7 layers of polish here.  It's not surprising that I managed to crease my ring finger before it was totally dry, but I love jelly sandwiches enough to put up with all the layers and potential mess ups!
Look at this sweet baby bird that I rescued on Wednesday.  I had taken the day off and was reading mail in my back yard when this bird flew (fell?) into my yard and started hopping about.  I've got 3 dogs who follow me like my shadow, and my Border Collie Maggie started chasing the bird.  I scream, and start chasing the bird and yelling at Maggie to leave it alone.  Maggie manages to get it in her mouth at least once before I scare her away.  Then my Westie decides to get in on the fun and starts chasing the bird, who is frantically hopping and squaking.  I finally get the bird, and I took it to the front yard to escape the dogs.
I think the poor thing was in shock, but I couldn't tell any visible damage.  It just sat there on the yard while I retrieved my camera and took pictures.  I was afraid it might have a broken wing, as I wasn't sure why it hadn't flown in the first place to escape the dogs.  I now think it may have been it's first attempt at flight.  I was afraid to leave it in the grass, so I got a towel and some water and put it on my front porch.  Within a few minutes it hopped onto the planter.  The next time I checked on it, it was gone, so I think it finally flew successfully.  Exciting day :-)
Disclaimer:  I purchased these (but not the bird :-)

    1. I think the only other glitter I got from the Muppets collection was Rainbow Connection, which I really like. I got backups of Warm and Fozzie I loved it so much:-)
