Julep November Right at Home Collection

Julep's November collection of nail polishes celebrates the comforts of home, and the array of hues definitely remind me of a table set for Thanksgiving dinner and fall foliage.  This month's box also includes some new beauty items, so let's take a closer look!
From left to right, we have:
  • Aisha:  Wildberry purple crème (Boho Glam)
  • Alexandra:  Blonde crème (Boho Glam)
  • Brielle:  Deep autumn orange crème (Bombshell)
  • Nic:  Black crimson crème (Bombshell)
  • Autumn:  Burnt red-orange multidimensional glitter (Boho Glam)
  • Chloe:  Warm cocoa frost (It Girl)
  • Winter:  Grey cloud crème (It Girl)
  • Lola:  Moonlit night blue satin (It Girl)
  • Sheila:  Cherry pie red crème (Classic with a Twist)
  • Cynthia:  Desert sand microglitter (Classic with a Twist)
Julep introduced their new lip gloss formula this month, and I chose the sheer mauve Charming as my color.  It feels comfortable and hydrating on my lips without being heavy or sticky, perhaps a bit siliconey in texture (I know, not a word).  Wear time was on the shorter side at about 2 hours.
Also included in my upgrade box is a flesh color lip primer/plumper called Blank Canvas.  I've only worn this once so far, and it does indeed have a fairly intense tingling sensation and I think my lips did swell a bit.  Housed in a click pen, it took multiple clicks to prime the gloss - to the point that I started to wonder if it was empty.  It wasn't, so keep clicking if you are having the same issue.  I'm going to have to use this for a while before I form an opinion, but it is designed to be a multi-tasker that primes, plumps, and moisturizes your lips.

The extra this month was a foil sample of Julep's new skin serum called Luxe Repair, which features a blend of rosehip seed oil, Malvaceae Lipid Extract, and pure green coffee bean oil.  With the sample card came the  code LUXE for 30% off.

Looking forward to playing with these colors and I so agree with the quote on this month's card!   "There's no place like home" - Dorothy.

    1. Maybe December will be your month! I'm curious to see what they offer, for some reason I'm thinking glitters will be a focus.
