About me: I enjoy reviewing the makeup and beauty products I buy as well as reading reviews from others. Skincare concerns: oily/congested, aging, and sun damage. Fortunately, the semi-tropical climate and humidity of where I live helps me from looking like the crypt keeper, in spite of all those years soaking up the sun :-) So let's talk skincare and makeup and anything else that strikes our fancy.

Elusive Colorburst Matte Balm by Revlon
Elusive is a lovely camellia pink with a matte finish. That's probably not descriptive enough, as there are lots of different pink camellia's, so let me show you:
It doesn't look quite as vibrant on my lips, but perhaps that's because I tend to blend out lip colors with my fingers to get a more natural look or my underlying lip tone.
I do experience some settling in my lip lines, but it doesn't detract from how Elusive looks on and is only apparent up close. While not hydrating, I find these matte balms comfortable to wear, and I get about 2-3 hours wear before needing to reapply. That's about average for me, given I'm always sipping on something.
In the above photo I'm wearing Elusive over the Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics lip tar Lovecraft, which gives it some sparkle without taking away it's matte finish. This is a great neutral pink for me and I think I'm going to give it lots of wear! The Colorburst matte balms retail for about $9, and I usually wait until there's a BOGO offer, which Ulta currently has going on.
Darn I still really want to try these, we never have BOGO sales ughhhh
