Well hello there, 1980's neon look. The 1980's had a lot of questionable trends, including big hair and big shoulder pads. I lived through them all, and I do seem to remember having a few neon items in my wardrobe. It's definitely not an easy look to carry off, and I'll admit to having a few moments of looking at my hands and thinking "zombie nails".

So what do you think, yay or nay on this look? What other colors might look good with Green Graffati?
Linking up with The Nail Files, hosted by Jennie Shaw:
What a fun mani! My oldest son's name is Blake, so I might have to get this, despite my aversion for bright yellow polish (on me anyways!). I was an 80s child, rocking my permed hair with mall bangs and "wings," neon and spandex...oh yeah...wish there weren't pictures from that era lol!! Happy friday!
ReplyDeleteAndie MacDowell's curly hair was my ideal, so I tortured my long straight hair with more than one spiral perm. If nothing else, the 80's were distinctive :-)
DeleteOh this is pretty pretty!!!
ReplyDeleteAgainst the yellow, all I see are the black flakes (my first thought was "cool! apocalypse mani!"). I wonder if the green would show up better against white or very light pink? Or dark red?
ReplyDeleteYeah, the green gets lost in the yellow. Light pink is a good idea!
DeleteWhooooa Green Graffiti is so cool! It's kind of Halloween-ish - looks like it ought to glow in the dark! I'd definitely be curious what this looked like over a white polish.
