Azurite is one of the 5 color polishes from the Fall/Winter 2013
collaboration of
JINsoon and women’s wear designer Amy Smilovic of Tibi. A midnight blue with small specs that look silver most of the time, it can also flash color in more intense light. I've seen comparison references to Essie's discontinued and much loved Starry Starry Night, but never having owned that, I can't really say.Application was easy and Azurite wore extremely well, a full six days with minor tip wear and no chipping. While JINsoon polishes are on the pricey end at $18, I'm impressed with the quality! Considering I was dishes by hand (broken dishwasher) and do yard work with gloves on, I'm persuaded that the double patented formula featuring high-tech polymers and resins to ensure longer wear isn't just marketing hype. This baby performed!
I see more JINsoon polishes in my future, especially considering I'm currently wearing Epidote and am smitten with how gorgeous it is as well. You'll see that one next week :-)

Oh! I love this color! It's perfect for fall and actually comes across as a color and not just "black" looking. So pretty!
ReplyDeleteYes, you can definitely tell it's blue, which I really like!
DeleteI loooove that there's SO much glitter in there!! I especially love the look of a darker polish that has sparkle in it. Great color :)

6 day wear is amazing!!
ReplyDeleteThis color is gorgeous!! And good to know it held up to the hype, I'm always skeptical when I hear things. (I haven't heard of this, just in general. lol) It's really lovely. And you take such great, interesting photos. Mine are pretty boring. haha
ReplyDeleteThank you! I just love being outside so I try to incorporate it into my pictures as much as possible:-)
DeleteHi friend! I just tried to reply to your comment (as I usually try to do after TNF posts)--but you're currently set up as a no-reply blogger. I'm sure we'd all love to reply to your comments! You do this by going to your dashboard > settings > mobile and email > put in the address you want comments to come to.
ReplyDeleteI may be confused, but I do have an email address where you indicated, so I'm not sure what the problem is :-(
DeleteOoo! This is lovely! So pretty when the light hits!
ReplyDeleteOh my gah! That color is AMAZING!! I love it. It reminds me of the night sky but so much more!
ReplyDeleteThis is such a stunning shade! I have a soft spot for navy polishes of all kinds. I think the shimmer in this is so pretty! Sounds like a really great formula too. :)
ReplyDeleteThat's really pretty! I personally would probably fork over $18 for a good quality polish every once in a while...there are tons of polishes that are $10+ that suck!
