I wasn't sure if the actual textured feel of these would bother me, but it's not rough feeling, and I don't mind it. The biggest plus for me is the fast drying time! These are a great "polish right before bed" option, as they dried quickly and required no top coat. I used 2 coats of Solitaire over OPI's base coat, and it's wearing like iron, as I've got zero tip wear or chips after 3 days of wear.
If you've followed my blog for any length of time, you know that I always feature flowers and plants in my nail polish shots. That's primarily because I love being outside and incorporating nature into my pictures. I'm usually in my backyard, but I occasionally also take pictures on the campus of the university I work at. I've gone to school and worked on some gorgeous campuses - UNC at Chapel Hill and Vanderbilt - but my current institution is much younger and consequently doesn't have those stately grounds and buildings. What we do have in abundance in Mobile, and on some select spots on campus, are lovely, sprawling oak trees. So, I took this picture while out looking for plants to incorporate into my Solitaire pictures. Enjoy :-)
