Love Letters, Traffic Stopper Copper |
I then did two coats of Traffic Stopper Copper, followed by another two coats of Love Letters. If you count the base and top coats, that's 8 layers of polish. Fortunately, I managed to not smudge it during the drying phase.
It takes of minimum of 3 coats for Love Letters to start looking like it does in the bottle, but that's not unusual with lighter colored jellies. Of course, my experience has mainly been with OPI's ballet series, and it took lots of coats to get them to show up. I can say that Love Letters performed much better than they did, with no streaking at all.
I do love the lit from within quality that comes from sandwiching Traffic Stopper Copper between Love Letters. I don't like that my natural nails are a bit yellow from polishing, and of course you've got some visible nail line here. Oh well, I can live with it.
Disclosure: I purchased these.
Ohhhhh this looks so pretty! I love it cause it's fun and glittery but not in-your-face! So pretty!
ReplyDeleteThank you! I don't feel self conscious wearing this one to work, but it still has a bit of bling factor to it.
DeleteVery pretty! I am a sucker for peachy pink shades. The glitter polish reminds me of Deborah Lippmann's "Some Enchanted Evening"
ReplyDeleteI love peachy pinks as well. Something about them says "healthy" to me, unlike greens, which on me scream "corpse like".
