NOTD: Julep Julianne

Julianne by Julep was part of my Maven Boho Glam box for February.  A medium bluish gray creme,  Julianne was fully opaque at 2 coats.  I did experience a few bubbles, so waiting for each coat to dry might be a good idea.  I used the new Freedom Top coat that was also from the Maven box this month, which dried quickly with a high gloss.

The brushes seemed different this month, a bit larger or flatter perhaps?  The biggest problem I've had with Julep is excess pooling of polish as it drips down the extra long brush applicator, and it was even more obvious this month.  Not insurmountable, but definitely irritating.  Still, Julianne is a pretty color and a nice addition to my collection!
Disclaimer:  I purchased this.

  2. Hi Lulubelle, just browsing through the Nail Files link up. I am absolutely in love with Julep and even moreso with their Freedom Polymer Top Coat. They gloss is amazing and I haven't had any smudging. Do you love it as much as I do? And are you considering the Valentines Day mystery box?

I'd love to hear what you think. Happy Friday,

    1. So far, I'm liking the Freedom top coat! It did not shrink my polish like Seche Vite sometimes does, and it has a nice shine. I didn't get one of the Valentines Day mystery boxes, although I've gotten several mystery boxes in the past. Thanks for stopping by!

    1. I've had good experiences with Julep polish, although I've read others accounts of it chipping on them.

  4. I have this on my nails right this second. It's a really cool color. Greyish blue, but almost purple in some light. I like it!

Stopping by from the linkup :)
