NOTD: Jelly Sandwich with Minnie Style and Bubble Trouble

I recently picked up the OPI Couture de Minnie set of mini polishes and a full size bottle of the glitter from this collection, Minnie Style.  As soon as I saw Minnie Style I knew I wanted to do a jelly sandwich.  Since there is no jelly polish in OPI's newest Minnie Mouse collection, I turned instead to Bubble Trouble, part of the "Miss Candy" L'Oreal Colour Riche collection of 8 jelly polishes.
Bubble Trouble impressed me as it definitely has a jelly finish, but is more opaque than other jellies I've tried.  This translates to using less layers to achieve the jelly sandwich effect, saving a bit of time.  Nice!  The soft bubblegum pink color complemented the white, red, and magenta hexagon glitters of Minnie Style quite well, I think.
I found dabbing Minnie Style on and then pushing the glitter bits around with the brush worked best.  This allowed me to use only one layer of the glitter, sandwiched between two coats of Bubble Trouble.  I used Seche Vite's base coat and Butter London's Quick Dry top coat to finish.
I also have the red jelly from the Miss Candy polishes, and if these interest you, there is a BOGO offer on L'Oreal products at Rite Aid this week, plus you can print a coupon for $3 off of 3 L'Oreal nail polishes here that is good through June 14th. I can also see a white jelly such as OPI's Don't Touch my Tutu! paired with Minnie Style making a nice peppermint stick/Christmas look.  Lot's of versatility here!
