NOTD: Louise with Maria Luisa by Zoya

Disclaimer:  I purchased these.
I broke out Louise by Zoya again, second time in about a month.  This could be because my short term memory is going, or it could be because I love a chocolate cream polish.  Probably a bit of both.
I then dabbled the gold fleck Maria Luisa on the tips of my nail, for a bit of sparkle and shine.  It's just enough detail without being in your face, dark with a flash of glint.
I've been battling a mouse that has moved into my house, so I'm a little sleep deprived.  He/she likes to gnaw on things, namely the containers of my organic lotions and potions, at about 3 am.  One of us is going to have to go, and since I can't afford another house, it needs to be the mouse.  At least I hope it's a mouse, and not it's larger rodent cousin.

Do you have a polish you revisit over and over?  You might want to check out some other NOTD's via The Nail Files, hosted by Jennie at Well Shut the Front Door!

  1. Really pretty and rich toned mani! (I *might* have chocolate on the brain!) I have a few polishes that I just never tire of. Gelish Make you Blink Pink and Gossip Girl are my go to cheerful pinks. I'm also obsessed with OPI's Alcatraz Rocks, a liquid sand from the fall collection.
Ewwww about the mouse...how dare he get near your beauty products?!

    1. Alcatraz Rocks was one of the few polishes from the San Francisco collection that appealed to me!

  2. I totally considered getting that gold fleck polish before but I resisted! I think the combo looks awesome!
You should get a cat ;) My cat caught a couple of mice before when we lived in a very old apartment.

    1. I had two cats, but both have died of old age now. When I lived in Boston in an old apartment, one of the cats caught a mouse. I thought of that cat this week and wished he was still alive. He was the best cat ever, for lots of reasons!

  3. Mmm that polish looks just like chocolate! Oh my gosh I hope that you can get your mouse problem resolved quickly - there's NOTHING (NOTHING) creepier than the sounds that mice make when they're scurrying around and nibbling on things. Ah!!

  5. AHHH! MOUSE!! We had one in our walls once and it was awful. However, I'm happy to see that your trauma hasn't affected your ability to do awesome nails. ;) This combo is super pretty!
